Free printable Christmas bingo cards

Christmas bingo is picture bingo for the holidays: everyone gets a card of Christmas pictures, the caller draws them one at a time, and the first to mark a full row shouts “Bingo!” This maker prints a different card for every player, 2 to 30, with their name at the top, in painted pictures or in words, as 3×3 cards for little ones, 4×4 or classic 5×5. The caller's sheet and the calling cards come with it. Free, no account.

How to make Christmas bingo cards

  1. Who's playing

Choose how many players, 2 to 30, and type their names if you like, one per line. Each name prints on its own card.

  2. Pick the cards

3×3 for little ones, 4×4, or classic 5×5 with a free middle square; painted pictures or words; holly red or snowy blue.

  3. Print and play

Download the PDF and print it at 100%. Cut the cards apart, cut out the calling cards and draw them from a hat or a stocking.

What's in the PDF

  • A different card for every player: no two have the same pictures, and no two share a winning line
  • Each player's name in handwriting at the top of their card, or a line to write it on
  • 30 painted Christmas pictures, from Santa and a candy cane to a gingerbread house, each with its word
  • Word cards for readers and grown-ups: the same game without the pictures
  • A caller's sheet with how to play and a box to tick for every picture
  • Calling cards to cut out and draw from a hat
  • Two designs, holly red or snowy blue, on US Letter or A4: two cards to a page, or one for 5×5
Two Christmas bingo cards side by side with “Christmas BINGO” at the top and the names Emma and Leo, each a 4 by 4 grid of painted pictures like Santa, a snowman, a candy cane and a gingerbread man with their words underneath

How to play Christmas bingo

Give everyone a card and something to mark it with: a crayon, stickers, chocolate chips or mini marshmallows. The caller draws a calling card, says the word, shows the picture and ticks it off on the caller's sheet. Players with that picture mark the square. The first to complete a row, a column or a diagonal shouts “Bingo!” and the caller checks their card against the ticks.

For a longer game, play for the four corners or the whole card. On 5×5 cards the middle square is free, so a line through the middle needs only four pictures.

Which size for which age

3×3 cards suit toddlers and preschoolers who are just learning to match pictures: nine big squares and 18 pictures in the game, so a round is over in a few minutes. 4×4 cards (24 pictures) are the sweet spot from about five, and 5×5 (all 30) is classic bingo for a class party, a family gathering or the grown-ups.

Picture cards work for everyone, readers or not. Word cards are good practice for early readers and a quieter game for older kids and adults.

Every card is different

The pictures are dealt out evenly, so each one is on about as many cards as the others. No two cards have the same pictures, and on 4×4 and 5×5 cards no two share a winning row, column or diagonal, so two players never call bingo on the same pictures. The same choices always give the same cards, so you can print one more later; “Deal new cards” makes a fresh set for the next game.

Questions

How do I make Christmas bingo cards?
Choose the number of players, type their names if you like, pick 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5, pictures or words and a design, and download the PDF. Every player gets a different card, and the caller's sheet and calling cards are included.
Are these Christmas bingo cards free?
Yes. The PDF is free for up to 30 players, with no account and no watermark. You can leave your email to get the PDF sent to you, but you don't have to.
Is every bingo card different?
Yes. No two cards have the same pictures, and on 4×4 and 5×5 cards no two share a winning row, column or diagonal, so two players never win on the same pictures. “Deal new cards” makes a fresh set.
Can I use it for a class Christmas party?
Yes, for up to 30 kids: paste the class list, one name per line, and each child gets their own card. Picture cards work in preschool and kindergarten, word cards for early readers.
What do players mark the squares with?
Whatever you have: crayons, stickers, Christmas candy, chocolate chips or mini marshmallows. Slip the cards into sheet protectors and use a dry-erase marker to play again and again.
Does it print on US Letter?
Yes, on US Letter or A4, in color or black and white: the pictures stay clear in grayscale. Print at 100% or “actual size”.
