A plain five-year journal can only print the date. Yours also prints who you celebrate: each birthday and anniversary goes into its own year’s box with that year’s age, and holidays that move, like Easter, are in the year they fall on.
Start any month, keep it for five years
Your journal starts on the first of the month you choose and runs round the year, so you write in it in order. Start in January, or this month and begin tonight. The first pages hold a title page, how it works and all your dates with their ages, year by year.

- What is a five-year journal?
- A book with one page for each day of the year and room for five years on every page. Each year you write a line or two in that year’s box, and see what you wrote on the same day in the years before.
- What makes this one different?
- Your family’s birthdays, anniversaries and other dates are printed in the right year’s box, with the age or the number of years that year. Holidays that move, like Easter, are in the year they fall on.
- How big is it?
- A5 (5.8 × 8.3 in), hardcover, 376 pages of cream paper: a title page, how it works, your dates, 366 day pages including 29 February, and notes pages at the back.
- Can it start in any month?
- Yes. Choose this month, January or any month in the coming year. The day pages run from the first of that month round the year, and each page covers the five years from your start.
- What happens on 29 February?
- It has a page of its own. In the years without it, its box is left blank, and a 29 February birthday is printed on 28 February those years.
- When will it arrive?
